Gates McFadden As Dr. Beverly Crusher – Star Trek: The Next Generation

Gates Cheryl McFadden portrayed Dr. Beverly Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation. While McFadden appeared in the first season of the series, she was replaced by Diana Muldaur, Dr. Katherine Pulaski, as the chief medical officer of Enterprise for season 2. However, series creator and screenwriter, Gene Roddenberry, had his doubts about Dr. Pulaski’s involvement with the rest of the characters and asked McFadden to return to her role for the rest of the series with a different business plan.
